upgrade problem

    i just instaled xp office pro and it installed itself as a program rather than the opperating system does anyone know what i have done wrong thanks for any help you can give me

    msw1069, the only thing u've done wrong is getting the wrong software.

    Office XP is indeed a program, it's a software suit containing word, excel, powerpoint...etc.
    The operating system you wanted is called Windows XP.

    It's two different things.
