Hey, couple days ago I networked my two computers with XP pro. I used peer-to-peer with a crossover cable. Yesterday I disconected them and everything seem to be working fine on my host system. Today I try to go on the Internet and I couldn't access. I ran cmd prompt to renew the ip address, however, the message "The operation failed as no adapter is in the state permissible for this operation." Does this has to do with me removing one of the nics from my host system? I cannot get in the internet, and even though it shows the ip address, it does not show the DNS suffix nor the gateway. Could anybody give me a hand?
    Thanks.
