    Hi,

I have configured a limited account on my Windows XP Pro laptop machine and would like to change some of the power settings.

When I log on to the limited account I find that I do not have sufficient priviledges to make the changes and so far have not been able to find a way to do it from an administrative account.

How do I make changes to Control panel|Power Options for a limited account?

    Regards Basher

If the account you are logging on to is different than the normal account you use, add the account you are having a problem with to the administrator group. You should then be able to make any changes you want from within that account.
