    Do this:

Right click an open area of the Desktop > click Properties > Desktop tab > Customize Desktop button > and tag the boc labeled "My Documents" > OK out of there.

  3. to hide this advert.

    Another Way?

Just go to normal sign on background desktop with icons. click start select (My Document)Click hold and slid over to anywhere on desktop background. Then reposition it where ever you want it. surferdude2 Hope that it was O.K.to mention a different way ? loonychoons

That's OK except the icon created will be a standard Shortcut rather than the enhanced function applet that the normal "My Computer" icon is. When you right click and select properties, you won't get the functions the applet provides.

    Best regards.

Hey!! I learn something new or different every day? I always just lived with whatever icon that showed up? I must say that I have noticed that some were different but I never knew why? Thanks for straightening me out. Lenny
