Copying and Pasting

I have a problem, and that is copying and pasting from one e-mail to another. I have XP program and Outlook express 6, and Internet Explorer 6. Also I have the same problem taking and copying from my e-mail and posting it on a web site. I does not let me do it.

 

First possibility - may be a virus since several of them have a side effect of partly or completely breaking copy/paste. From Quicklinks (my signature) run at least one and better two online virus scans.

If that wasn't the problem then a few questions.
- can you copy/paste normally everywhere except email & browser?
- can you copy from email, paste to notepad, copy from notepad, paste to email or browser?
- if you highlight a block of text in an email and then use CTRL-C to copy and then CTRL-V to paste, what happens?
