When I imported address book into net 7.2 from floppy they won't go into the personal or collected address books so they just stay as address from the floppy.when I compose I always have to click down to the book I imported which is a pain. Also when I click on the address book on the bottom of netsc window they are all in alphabetical order. When I hit compose and address they are all ******* around and there is no way there to sort or anything on that bar. I have tried all ways and there is no way of I can find to change either problem. Anybody out there know what to try? Never had this problem when I had Netsc. 7.1 Also this is a new hard drive so no other version of Netsc was on it........thank you Clo

    clo,
When you import an addressbook, it will be imported as an additional addressbook with the name of the file that you imported from. If the file you imported was named:
clos addresses.ldif then the imported book would be clos addresses and it would be listed below the collected addressbook.

To transfer any addresses from an imported book into "Personal Address Book" , select the addresses in the right panel and drag and drop them into the Personal Address Book

I don't understand this part at all

For details about addressbooks, please see:

    two different views of addresses

when I click on address book on bottom bar they are in alphabetical order. When I click on compose do a note and click on the address in upper left corner of that compose box the addresses are all mixed up and there is no way to straighten them out. I know it sounds dumb, but thats the fact....

    clo,

When you are in the compose window and you select "Address" - (third icon from the left )You get the addressbook .

At the TOP of the list are column headings - click on "Name" this should sort the list in alpha order......

Please post back with the results.
