Cable Internet

    Using Cable Internet, can you use a signal splitter and connect two systems to the single cable coming in? (Both systems are in the same room)

    Yes and if the Cable Signal Strength is strong you will not notice a difference.

    2 cable modems?

    Why?

    How about 1 modem, one bill, and one router???

    If your talking about 1 modem and one TV with a splitter then yes as long as the splitter is not a peice of garbage and has to be Bi directional.

    I realized AFTER I posted it would take two modems which wouldn't make sense. Thanks for the replies.

    Do some research about cable/dsl routers. Using such a device one can connect up to 253 computers to ONE cable modem and all have internet access at the same time.
