    Hey There,

I am getting the error message 'memory access violation in module kernell32'
It is preventing me from using my computer. When I turn on the machine
it loads to the point where my desktop should start to appear and then
I receive the erroe message. The same thing happens when I try to
start up in safe mode as well. What can I do to fix this problem?

    Any help is GREATLY appreciated!!!!

    Thanks!!! :)

    Hi there.

Can you get into an msdos prompt from the f8 key on startup?

If you can then run Scanreg, See command below.

    c:\scanreg

After scanreg has started look for the button that says View backups and choose a backup from when it started ok, it will say which backup started and which did not.

    I hope this helps.
