Stop :0X00000023 during installation winnt server 4.0 sp1

I receive the error message :- Stop: 0x00000023 (0x000f00b5, 0xf44378ec. 0xf4437728, 0x8013d44a) address 8013d44a has base at 80100000 - ntoskrnl.exe during the installation of windows nt server 4.0 with sp1 in Quantum Atlas 10k3 18GB SCSI HDD. I try to install windows 2000 server, windows xp home edition and win98 also can't proceed. Can anybody help me in this error wether is HDD problem or what's the problem.

Ok, i got it out of my system. So the problem here is you are trying to install something that was written in August of 1996 on your machine. You are getting a stop23 for one two likely reasons either a) you formatted this with something like xp and nt4 doesnt know how to read it or b) the ATAPI driver that shipped in 96 isnt talking to your hardware right because back then they didnt have hard drives that big.

This is going to require quite a bit of inginuity to get rolling. You mention a lot of operating systems there, are you a developer and you need test platforms? You need to go get VirtualPC and do it that way, a million times easier than quad booting (trust me i do this all day).

If you are dead set on multibooting, youll need to follow some very specific installation orders with slipstreamed install cds to get them to work.
