Is it possible to use an F key, like F1 thorugh F12, to enter a password or passwords into a password field in a webpage you want to access? for, example, online banking? This is while you are using Mozilla or Firefox.

    ackerberg,

I seriously doubt that you can use a Function Key for a site password. However, there may be a third party program out there that would prove me wrong. Firefox won't let you do so.

I use ClipCache Plus to enter a lot of repetitive text, which works with passwords as well. You can use a Hot Key for a password: CTRL+AnyNumber or CTRL+AnyText. Works as a macro.

    FWIW

Do you mean you use ClipCache Plus with a hot key to enter passwords?

    ackerberg,

Yes, that's what I mean, ClipCache must be open in order to enter the hot key for the password. I simply fill in my user name and then enter CTRL+# for the password.

You can buy ClipCache from Rose City Software. There is also a Demo you can check out. The SW is $19.95.
