When I logon to either of two users, windows explorer starts automatically.

It is not in startup folders, allusers/run, or username/run in HKCU or HKLM.

If it's opening to the Windows\System32 folder, go to Kelly's Korner, scroll down to line 260 and download from the right-hand column, "System32 Folder Open Upon Boot. "

Run it according to the directions on the top of that page. It makes a registry edit in HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run (you can open it in Notepad to see the registry edit it makes).

Thanks Miz. The problem is on my cousin's machine and he is out of pocket right now. I come back and let you know. :)

I tried every fix I could come across and nothing worked. I finally fixed with a clean install. Works every time. ;)
