I have MS AntiSpyware as active in the Systray.

Last evening as usual my Wife and I played Golf with our Friend in Canada.

We use ICQ for confirmation of connection and verification of his IP address.

When I started ICQ AntiSpyware came up with a message about ICQ attempting to do something. ( pencil and paper use would have been nice ) I believe it mentioned a .DLL attempting to make a change. I had to ( or did anyway ) allow it.

Will that now be a permanent setting in MS AntiSpyware ?

I say Yes but will still ask.

Is that MS AntiSpyware doing what it is supposed to ?

Yes - permanent for that specific change
Yes - the app doing it's thing

No - M$ hasn't done a good job of making that message very useful. I seem to remember trying without success to display the entire line describing the change. I finally did what you did and told it to go ahead without knowing exactly what I was giving permission to.
