no backgrounds in firefox

    Everywhere i go the on the web with firefox im getting no backgrounds its really annoying me any suggestions would be appreciated even this forum is all white!

    coolwaters,

    No matter what I do in the Display settings, I can't get Firefox to display an all white background. Have you checked your Windows Display settings? Have you upgraded to Firefox 1.0.1?

    Check your page style too - View > Page Style > should be on 'Basic Page Style' and not 'No Style'.

    Its still white everywhere the only colour i get is links and images like headings, the page style is on basic my windows settings are fine, IE displays everything perfectly its just this i even tried reinstalling and its still the same lol :confused:

    What do you not see? I really don't undrstand this background problem. Is this a case with this website?, which is more or less white, but with plenty of blue.

    Fixed it finally I just done start, run typed firefox.exe -profilemanager deleted the profile I had and made a new one, clicked the run firefox button and everything is fine now thanks for help anyway :)

    Did you, by chance, have the PrefBar extension installed? It has a setting which will remove all background colors, which can be very handy when trying to read some web pages. In fact, it's the only reason I keep PrefBar installed.

    Probably lol I was messing around with it getting plugins that may have been it :rolleyes:

    You said it! I had just gotten a webpage in red, with orange letters. Some people should have their head examined.
