    Hola! :D

Check if u have the "enable on board usb" option in your BIOS (type repeatidely the DEL key before windows starts). Enable it if disabled.

Check for any other "enabling usb" like phrase it this one is not matching.

Try updating the usb driver, there seems to be an issue with sp2 and usb :
Right click on My computer>properties > device manager
Find the line "USB controllers ", select "USB Root Hub ", right click > "update ".

Success has been had in the past by removing all USB controllers and hubs from device manager and reboot. They will be re installed by windows. I had this problem the first time I installed SP2.

i erase the usb drivers from device manager....and reboot
yes, windows detect new hardware (when i pulg any device),
but the problem is that it doesnt detect the camrecorde(for example) as a readable drive neither the usb printer....and all the devices that i have ....its useless...

have u checked if there's a sp2-updated driver on ur cam manufacturer website? Same for printer?

try uninstalling sp2 to check if it works without it. (add/remove program)

    ok i will try that

The devices doesnt have any problem, because i have used them, and plug them in my office´s pc....and they work perfectly, but the "uninstalling sp2" sounds a good option....ill try that----

i havent did that because i was trying to fix it any other way....
Anyway if i uninstall sp2 can i reinstall it without problem...
or which are the pros and cons of having/not having SP2--.--

    greetings.
