Writing to a NIC card

    Hi,

    Can anyone tell me what would be involved in sending data to a NIC card in order to wake up a machine using WOL?

    I already have a number of tools that let me apply WOL and they all work fine, but what I would like to do is write my own front end tool in Borland C++ Builder to do the same, simply as a learning exercise.

    Any ideas would be of great interest.
