I just had to reload Windows ME (a dirty install) after my computer quit functioning, it wouldn't even boot into safe mode. I have went to the windows update site and downloaded and installed everything except for SP1. Everytime I do that I get a warning message that states "Setup was unable to install all the components. Please close all applications and try running Setup again." I even went and downloaded the entire install program and tried to install it from my hard drive. What else can I try to get this to work? Because of this, I am also having trouble using Microsoft Money because it gives me a warning that I need IE 6 installed for it to work properly. IE 6 is installed, but I just haven't been able to install the SP1.
