I know this may sound like a dumb question, but I need help finding the processor speed on my Dell L466cx, which has Win98 on it. I checked a website and it told me that it would be listed on one of the screens when I turn the computer on, but there was no such screen that had the information that I needed.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks.

I am no longer using that computer. I'm assuming that I would need to download that program onto the computer that I want the info for.

    Thanks for the help though..

Right click on My Computer and choose properties. It should be on the general tab.

Well, I guess I mislead you. Sorry. I was using XP at the time I posted that and the info was there. I just booted to 98 and I see it isn't. It seemed to me at the time it was there. You might try downloading the program holyhandgrenade mentioned. Otherwise, you can download the free version of Everest. It'll tell you that and a whole lot more about the hardware in you computer. Probably more than you want to know. :)
