When i look at my bookmarks from a menu, not sidebar, at the very bottom of
the list is "Open in Tabs ". I clicked it and it opened every bookmark i have in
    a seperate tab.
This action doesn't seem right - how is it supposed to work?

    thanks,
    savagcl

What do yoy think? You got a list of Bookmarks, and it says Open in Tabs. If the bookmarks are in a single folder, you should have the folder in a Tab, but if you have a bunch of bookmarks, I would expect to have a tab for each one. It is logical to me, at least.

    Clif,

    In Mozilla:
Open a new tab for each site that you visit frequently. Once you have those tabs open, then click on the Bookmarks Tab, and select "Bookmark this group of Tabs ".

    In Firefox:
Open the desired Tabs, and click on Bookmarks. Select "Add Bookmark ". Name the Tab Group, and enable: "Bookmark all tabs in a folder ".

That is the true purpose of the Tabbed browsing. Rather than open a new window for each site, you can toggle back and forth between your favorite sites. Those of us who are long time tab browsing users often have between 10-15 tabs open at all times.

Thanks for clearing that up, Ramona.

I can see where that would be helpful to researching a specific topic and
    heavy web users.
Rarely do i find a need to have more than 2 tabs open at a time tho.

    I understand it now.

    thanks,
    savagcl
