Hidden files and folders

    Why can't I select Show Hidden files and Folders with Windows 2000 as Administrator. I go into Explorer, And from the menu at the top I select folder options, from there I select the Radial button to show hidden files and folders...but if I go out and back in my selection is gone..Why won't it stay?????? Please Help....

    Also check if the option Remember each folder's view settings is checked.
