    When Microsoft launched the first Beta last month of Windows AntiSpyware, one question that remained unanswered was if Microsoft would ask users to buy Microsoft AntiSpyware, or if it would remain a free product.

    If you click the link in the upper left hand corner of the green box at the top of the screen, that says Windows Anti Spyware it takes you to the NoAdware site.

    Is this the actual app that you're referring to ?

    Well ... the required Genuine Windows Validation refuses to validate my computer.

    Any ideas ?

    In what way? If your Security settings are tight you may need to take the manual route at the bottom of the page with the explanation re. the ActiveX control to be downloaded.

    Any suggestion that your copy of Windows is not as genuine as you thought?

    For this download, at least, you can bypass the validation procedure by clicking the second option here ....
