I'm working with two laptops and a dialup internet connection.

    Computer#1
WinXP (Media Center) with built-in Wireless NIC. Norton Personal Firewall.

    Computer#2
WinME with a Belkin PCMCIA Wireless NIC. Norton Internet Security.

Dialup can be on either connection, but I generally like to use #1.
Both computers say that the connection itself is working fine -- "excellent, 11mbps," etc.

I have the same workgroup on both, with unique names.

On #1, I can see #1 in "my network places ", but not anything from #2. On #2, I can't see anything.

I have sharing enabled and folders shared.

I've done all the wizards I can figure out to do, but nothing has made it work yet. Oh, I can't share the internet connection either.

I've worked on this for HOURS  and can't seem to find whatever is missing to make it work... Any help will be greatly appreciated!

What IP Addresses do these systems have? (XP > Start > Run >cmd, then ipconfig.) (ME > Start > Run > command, then winipcfg)

Are they able to ping one another using the address? The computer name?
