DSL modem does something funny....

    I have an internal PCI DSL modem(Gnet 1021) and it works great except when I connect my sata drive to the RAID 1 sata connector. Right now it's connected to the sata1 connector and the modem sees the network on thephone line as soon as the desktop comes up. If I boot on the raid 1 connector the modem will "train' for a long time and does not see the connection. I have no idea why.

    is is a major stab in the dark, but check your IRQ's. may be a conflict there.
