Ever since I upgraded to XP home from 98, I have had trouble with Word 2000 correctly placing return address blocks on envelopes. I have tried everything I can think of. It was never a problem with 98se.

charlibob - Welcome to the Board :)

Have you checked that you have the latest XP drivers for your printer?

    Thanks Pete

Yes, one of the first things I tried was downloading both new Windows XP and HP drivers for XP. No help. Funny, it is only printing envelopes that is affected. The return address block ends up being half off the left margin of the envelope no matter what size I choose or how much I try to cheat. Maybe the soultion is just not print the return block and print up a bunch of labels for that field.

My only other thought at the moment would be a repair of Word - Help > Detect and Repair or through Add/Remove Programs - MS Office/Word > Change and look for the Repair Option.
