I've subscribed to ETrust anti virus for nearly a year, and have had no trouble with automatic updates of virus signatures. Two days ago, Windows informed me that my virus signatures were out of date. I checked the update log and my last auto update was on Feb 1. When I tried a manual update, I got an error screen saying my proxy settings were incorrect or I'm not connected to the internet, both of which I know to be wrong (I don't use a proxy). I've made no changes to the software. Last night, when I realized my auto update had failed again, I tried the manual update and got the error messge again. Five minutes later, I was able to manually update successfully. Is this a quirk in my PC, or are others finding the same thing? I just now updated to the latest version, 7.0.6.7, and for now the updates are working, but I'm not holding my breath. My subscription is up at the end of March, and will switch programs if there is no satisfactory resolution. I've not yet referred this to ETrust.

Thanks. I looked through the threads and didn't find this topic discussed. I wanted to be sure it wasn't just me. Perhaps others will add their experience.
