Agh! Wheneve I try to open My Computer, My Documents, or some other folders, they won't open and all that happens is explorer will shut down, and then restart again! This started a few days ago just all of a sudden. Please help as soon as possible as a lot of my files are in My Documents.

    Gixugif,

Welcome to the board! Have you run any anti virus scans? I would also try a couple online scans to see if anything shows up.

Ooooh duh. I shoulda been able to think of that. I wouldn't be surprised if I do have a virus either as in the past I have downloaded many things. So I'll try that, and hopefully(strange as it may be to say that, but I'd rather have it explainable) I'll have something turn up.

Let us know how you come out. Yes, it is always better to know what the problem was. Another option would be to restore to a good working date.

No, I had tons of viruses, but none were the problem. As for restoring it to a good working date, how would I go about doing that?

If you are now virus-free, try clicking on the start button, on run, keying in
    Code:
    sfc /scannow
and clicking OK. The system file checker may replace damaged or missing system files and have you back in operation.

If you are not running local Antivirus software and keeping it up to date, you really should.
