How to get rid of Notepad message at startup

When I start my computer or reboot it, I get the following message on startup in Notepad:

[.ShellClassInfo]
LocalizedResourceName=@%SystemRoot%\system32\shell32.dll,-21787

How do I get rid of this startup message? Do I have a serious problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
