I added a new drive to my system and loaded Windows XP Prof.
Someone told me there is a utility out ther which can assist me in swapping the Hard Disk Letter assignments. The original drive is now the slave but is showing as the C:> drive and the new drive is the master and is showing as the E:>

If anyone can assist I would appreciate it highly!! Thanks ...Have a great day!

    :)

    Change drive letter

Would not allow me to change the Boot Drive. Are there any other options?

With power off, unplug the original drive then boot. The new drive should come up with the drive letter changed to the C:. Then power down and plug in the original again and see if it comes up as the D: drive. (You did change your CD drive to something else?) I have my optical drives as Y and Z drives.

If this doesn't work, come back and we'll figure it out.
