Will be installing new cards to provide a wired network between my two computers in the near future.Iam currently running Win98Se on one unit and Win2000Pro on the other. In my research of the subject I havent seen reference to conflicts between these OS during networking. The sharing of any experiences of problems with this configuration is appreciated. If a change must be done,I would have to update 98SE though I really hate letting it go but ease of setup is priority.Thanx in advance

It isn't necessary to upgrade any of your computers. All versions of Windows can be networked. That doesn't necessarily mean you won't run into trouble but that can be easily fixed by troubleshooting. The most common problem during the configuration and network setup is a firewall. I suggest that you disable or uninstall all firewalls during the network setup.
