error message "Drive is not accessable. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. Not enough server storage is available to process this command "

I have 4 PC's connected via a classic BEFSR-41 Linksys router using simple file sharing and on some computers the connection is either one way or no way. 3 out of the 4 PC's use XP Pro, and my wifes latest came with XP Home. All are up-to-date with the latest post SP-2 updates. My computer can communicate with my wifes XP home, and I can copy, delete, rename any folder on her PC (except of course C:\Windows and C:\Program Files - and that is a different question for another time) but I can't use her machine to modify files on my PC! It sees it but I can't open my folders to copy them to her machine from her machine. My PC also can't communicate with my daughters XP Pro in either direction also, although when I updated her computer to SP-2 a few months ago, it finally worked for awhile and then stopped again. If I plug my laptop (XP Pro) into the Linksys, again only 1 way communication is working (from PC to laptop. not laptop to PC), I can only see and change files on the laptop from the PC. My daughters PC can open and modify my wifes PC, and my wife's PC can open and modify my daughters PC.
Since we're simple and trusting, none of the PC's have a password, all have unlimited file sharing turned on (share this folder on the network AND allow network users to change my files), and from what I can tell in the network connections, they are all set exactly the same. Why can my computer see my wifes and not vice versa. Why can my computer work with the laptop and vice versa without a hiccup, but my daughters cannot communicate with me, nor I with it. In each case, all the computer are seen on the network, but when I try to explore the folders in one of the problem directions, I get the error message,
"\\computer_1\P3_D-Drive is not accessable. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. Not enough server storage is available to process this command "

I've read all the relevant posts I could find with search and even tried to add identical admistrative accounts to all PC's with the same NON-BLANK password, and the scenario is still the same as above! None of the PC's will talk to my PC, although my PC will talk to SOME of the other PC's, although in every case, I can see the folders on each logical drive, I just can't open them and I always get the error message above!

Please any ideas? I'm getting tired of burning CD's to move data back and forth as needed.

The problem is on the machine you are attempting to connect to. It's not on the machine you see the error message. On the computer you are connecting, check the Event Viewer for an Event ID 2011. If so, you need to fix the IRPStackSize that is indicated in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base Article. Norton Antivirus can cause this to happen.

Antivirus Software May Cause Event ID 2011

    Success

Thanks, I'll try that tonight when I go home. I don't use Norton AV, I use AVG7, but at this point I'll try anything.

    Follow up
It works, one computer was missing the IRPStackSize parameter, and the other was low. When they were both modified to 18, voila - it worked! Thanks ECross
