News Groups

I'm using NS 4.79 and have two profiles, because I have two pop3 accounts but only 1 news server. In one profile I can subscribe to news groups and thay never stay listed. I mean when I exit out and come back in and the groups that I had just subscribed to are not there. The other profile is fine groups stay listed. I check in my user folder and everything looks the same between both profiles except the news groups. The one that would not keep news groups had all the groups listed. I know the simple answer is use the profile that works. Thats not what I want to do. It should work in both Profiles. This is driving me nuts.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the link to disappering newsgroups.. Itried that ans didn't work. So I went one more step and removed the news server from my lperfs & prefs.js
files. Not the whole line just the news server name and that worked.
I hope this info may help someone else that is having that trouble.
