icon network on taskbar windows 98

    I have a dsl network pcmia card on windows 98 but don't see an icon on the right bottom side of my taskbar. How can i activate this ? Doesn't seem to be a property i can adjust

    Rt click Network Neighborhood icon and then select "Properties ". There should be a checkbox on Properties to "show icon in taskbar when connected ". It's been a while since used win98, so the option could be elsewhere.

    not the solution for windows 98, only xp

    That works for windows xp but not for windows 98 so the question remains :mad:
