Audio Echos

    The .avi files i play in windows media player 10are encoded with the xvid codec, and since upgrading have added an annoying echo. Please help. This is exceptionally annoying.

    Multi-chanel sound manager ?

    If you go to your control panel ---do you see an icon that says multi chanel control panel ?? If so --open it and poke around in there with the different selections ---you may find that interesting . You can get all sorts of effects and set your system to do surround sound and all the bells and wistles! post back and lemme know if this fixes your problem

    Sound like maybe the Synthesizer is selected?
