Internet cable connection disconnects/reconnects on a specific URL

    when i go to one specific site my internet conection will disconnect then reconnect. this happenes just on one site. cable,xp pro.

    The URL works fine for me - ADSL. I have no answer for you right now, but have edited your thread title to be more specific.

    Take a look at \system32\drivers\etc\hosts (text file and notepad will open it without causing any problems).

    If there is an entry in there containing that URL, it could indicate a problem. In that case, copy your hosts file and paste it here.

    Note, that is hosts with no extension. You may have hosts.sam or similar but they aren't active; just templates.
