Deleted emails keep returning

Weird thing keeps happening. I delete emails and they keep returning into my inbox. I am running Mozilla Suite 1.6

I couldn't find anything about this being a bug in Mozilla!?

Delete the MSF files in your Mail Account folder.

If that doesn't do the job then close Mozilla, open Window Explorer
Rename the popstate.dat file, which is located in the *.slt folder (Xpopstate.dat)

Open Mozilla Mail & Newsgroups and download all remaining messages on the server. Delete them to Trash: File | Empty Trash and File | Compact Folders
