    i have windows 2000 and send files sometime through ICQ but a friend has put windows xp on his computer and now he can send files to me but i can't send files to him. has anyone else had this problem?

    Yep, had same problem, haven't tried yet but we figure it's because XP's firewall. And no I don't know how to turn it off or let anything through, I use 2K.

    This is just a guess right now, so I hope I haven't pointed you in the wrong direction.
