Converted Partion from logical to primary won't boot

    I recently converted my hard disk from logical to primary using Partion Magic and now it will not boot, any suggestions as to how i can get it to boot without reformatting?

    A partition has to be made active to boot. PM should be able to do this, as well as fdisk run in DOS.

    how do you make a partition active in fdisk

    "the following Fdisk Options menu is displayed:

    1. Create DOS partition or Logical DOS Drive
    2. Set active partition
    3. Delete partition or Logical DOS Drive
    4. Display partition information
    5. Change current fixed disk drive
