    Hello,
I have been trying to connect a second computer to my dsl using a Netgear router. After 3 days and about 13 hours on the phone. I'm back to square 1.

I was able using the router to get my second computer online. the first one this one with WinME will not.

does anyone know anything about My Network Places--Home network wizard? after following the steps. the computer will not connect to the internet. I had to undo it and unhook second computer and connect the first one directly to the dsl modem.. PLEASE HELP :(

I assume you are using a "Hardwire" router...does the other computer get on line if you hook "It" directly to DSL line ? Dennis

Have you checked all your firewall settings making sure the routers address is allowed this is not always updated automatically and still seems to affect it even when the firewall is switched off.
