windows Virtual memory error

    I get this error message on most every start up ... What can I do LC

    Hmmmm. I think we need more detail.

    If you click on start, click on run, put eventvwr.msc in the line, and click OK, your event viewer will open.

    This error is probably reported to the system log but possibly to the application log (depending on what is triggering it). Search around for likely possibilities that happened at about the time you started up.

    When you locate one, double-click it open, click on the icon below the up/down arrows (sends a text copy to your clipboard) and paste the data in a reply here. If there are several, paste each of them.

    Hi, your pagefile is most likely corrupt, what are your current settings? To find out go to start/settings/system/advanced/performance options...VM initial size and max size. Make a note. Now change both initial and max to 0,0. Press "set" now reboot. Windows will create a new pagefile, go back into the above and reset VM to the original settings.... Let us know your current settings and how much Ram (physical memory) you have before you do any of this.
