Two issues - how do I display the To: field in an outgoing message and how do I change which user/account the email is being sent from (I have three accounts and apparently their is one that by default all mail is sent from - unless of course I am replying back). Thanks for the help - I searched OE and came up blank - maybe I'm looking in the wrong place? -Bob

    BBPanel--
Not sure I understand the first question. Where is it that you want to display the "To:" ?
As far as changing the account from which to send a message, OE File|Switch Identities|Manage Identities|Highlight the identity you want to use|check Use this Identity.

When I send a new message/email I'd like to have the sender ( "TO: ") field visible

I don't seem to have this path - I'm running Outlook - probably should have stated that. But if the process is similar it sounds like a fairly involved method of changing the sender - especially if one is moving back and forth between senders a lot. But if that's the only way so be it.

    Thanks -Bob

BBPanel--My guess is that it is best to start a new thread, probably under "Other Software ".
I am surprised Outlook does not show the "To" field (OE does it both as you compose and in the list of Sent Items messages), but I do not run Outlook. In OE in the case of Sent Items, you right click on the bar that includes !, Paper Clip and Subject and you then can chose which items to display--among which is To.

I don't use Outlook either but in OE when you want to send an email you can select the account you want to send from by clicking on the arrow on the right side of the from field. Another way in OE is to click the create mail button while viewing the account you want to send from. The from field should then default to that account. This is assuming that all three accounts are setup in one identity. Have a look at yours. I wouldn't doubt that it works in a similar manner.

As to your other question, sorry, I don't know. Can't say that I've ever seen any email app where the to field isn't visible. How do you address the email if you can't access the To field? Do you do it through the address book? I'm asking this because I'm wondering if I'm misunderstanding what you mean by the "to" field.
