I have some family pictures that I saved in my documents it used to be that I could click on the thumbnail and that would make them larger to view. Somehow they are no longer thumbnails I have to open them thru the open program window and when I pick a program and try to checkmark the little box that says " always use this proram to open" it won't allow me to click on it. How can I make these family pictures a thumbnail again? And why can I not click that little box. I hope this makes sence thank you very much

Welcome to the board Shocked06969! Open the folder the pics are in and click view>thumbnails. Hopefully that'll get you there but it almost sounds like your association for that file type is broke. So, if that doesn't work, what happens when you double click on a pic? Is that when you get the open with window? What kind of icon do they have

If you double click one of the files, does it open in the proper application based on the type of file you double-click?
