    Hi,
    after installing Win XP (works fine) on D:\ for a few times I still could boot into Windows ME, which has been on C:\ for a couple of months.
    After some time however I sudenly wasn't able to boot into ME any more, I only get the message "invalid system disk, replace disk and press any key ". If I press a key from there I will boot to WIn XP and not into ME.
    As I said, XP works fine, I just can't access Win ME any longer! Is there something wrong with the MBR ? What can I do ? Please help!:confused:

    You may have a master boot record buggerd. But here is what your boot.ini should look like, note: mine has win98se + winxp.

    [boot loader]
    timeout=30
    default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS
    [operating systems]
    multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS= "Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect
    C:\= "Microsoft Windows"

    My "C" is win98 yours would be ME:)
