When I try to go to this site: http://saturn.jpl.nasa.gov/index.cfm the page loads all the banners, gif's and text until it tries to load the pictures, then the download stops. Occaisionally some of the pictures load but not all. The Internet globe in top right is still spinning but there is no up/down activity shown on the connection indicators in the system tray. (56K dialup).

When this page stops loading, and I go to another site, no pictures (JPG) will download from any other sites until I close the browser and re-open. No problems on any other sites so far. Have deleted TIF's, History, done an IE repair, no entry in HOSTS file, checked all settings in options/advanced. HJT log is clean.

The page worked OK until about 3 days ago, no changes to setup's that I can think of since then.

When I go to the page with Firefox browser it d/l's OK. (I know, change to Firefox :) ).

This one's got me stumped. Any suggestions welcome.

Jim, Got you stumped too eh!

I was away for a couple of days and just tried the sight. It's downloading the pictures again on IE 5.5.

Possibly sight was very busy with the Titan lander stuff and all. Still doesn't answer the question why it would d/l into Firefox and not IE5.5.
