I want to know how to set a password to access both Outlook, and my Outlook Express folders. We have different passwords to access our computers, but if someone else presses cancel enough times, they can get into the computer and access all e-mail and Outlook messages. How can I set a password so these folders are not accessable without a password?

I don't tinker too much with Outlook Express so hopefully someone else can post a way to password protect its folders but I can tell you how to do it in Outlook. You didn't mention what version of Outlook you are running but here's how to do it in Outlook 97/98/2000:

    1. With Outlook open, click Tools -> Services.
    2. Double-click on Personal Folders
    3. Click the Change Password button
    4. Since you currently do not have a password, leave the Old password box empty and type the password you want in both the New password and Verify password boxes then click OK.
      [/list=1]
