Its no secret I am a beginner.I have question about vpn.Let me start by explanning what i have and what i want to accomplish.I have 4 computers in my house on a network, which is working perfectly. They are connected to a mr814v2 netgear router.I want to be able to have a friend to connect to this network for gaming. He has a router also (linksys.)We set up a vpn connection and he can connect and see my computers, but when he trys to join the game server that i am running he can not see the lan connection. If it matters the game is americas army.By the way he can access my files thur the vpn.Is there a simple solution to this maddness we are going thur?

What network protocol is the game using? If it is IPX/SPX (common for many older games), the protocol may well not be transported over the VPN link. See if there is an option in the game, for it to use TCP/IP.
