Media player 7.01 carnt access internet

    Hi people, I have just installed MS Media player 7.01, and am getting a message that it is not configured for the internet! I want it for the Radio stations mainly, tho it does look quite good otherwise. The rest of the player works OK. it says to use the Internet connection wizard, but I have a connection already. Is there a workaround this? Cheers Chris

    Hi there

    The option that you need to select is via the "Tools" menu, pick "options" and then "network" - you will need to decide what type of streaming media you want to download and how you want to configure it - see buttton at the bottom. I use the setting "use browser http proxy ". Hope this helps.

    Thanks JGALT. I ended up setting up another internet connection, as MS suggested, used it once to connect, then deleted the new connection, and it workes with my existing connection now. It just seemed such a long winded way around it :) Thanks again
