Word Document being sent with email as an attachment using "Send To"

    When I open Word and type a document I have an option to click on "Send to" "mail recipient(as attachment" as an attchment for email.

    When I send it this way the attachment filename has a 1_ next to the filename
    Example : 1_expenses.doc

    Why does the 1_ appear and can I stop it from showing up.

    I'm use Word and Outlook 2000 and couldn't reproduce this.

    What version of Word and which email program are you using?
