can not delete files

    I converted music from .cda to .mp3 with AWMAWorkshop and now I cannot delete the files created on my desktop. I am getting the message cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk. please help :confused: :confused:

    Try rebooting your puter and then delete them (if they're still there).

    Try deleting in safe mode or use MoveOnBoot.

    I tried the moveonboot, nothing happened, tried in safe mode with no success tried system restore it dissappeared from thje desktop but when I tried to empty recycling bin I had the same error report and cannot empty recycling bin :rolleyes:

    Click start>run and type cmd. At the command prompt type chkdsk /r. Answer yes to checking the disk the next time you boot. Then reboot and let chkdsk do it's thing. When you get back into windows give it another try.
