    Hello,
When I turned on the computer this morning I had this Error message. Auto Backup: Backup E-mail not found. Does anyone know what to do on this one? I ran sfc no help. Did a search, no such file. Any help greatly appreciated.

What program are you using for email?

Have you installed any backup software?

Might click on Start->Run and type: MSCONFIG

Look in the startup tab for anything that references backup and uncheck it..

Sorry about not enough information in the title.

Using Outlook Express 6. Win.XP Pro
I uninstalled an E-mail backup program the day before.
Went to MSCONFIG, found Auto Backup. It was checked. I unchecked it. The error message has gone. Do I need Auto Backup for Outlook to operate properly? Why was I getting the Error message? Thank you for you'r help.
