    Sometimes after I burn a CD and try to install the program it will not automatically start installing(Auto Run). It will go to a list of files and then you have to click on setup.exe in order for the program to install. Is there any way to make the created CD Auto Run? I can build computers, fix whats broken, but sometimes things like this baffle me. Any assistance will greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Create a text file in notepad and save it as Autorun.inf

    The file should read:

    [autorun]
    OPEN=Setup.exe

    I am assuming that the setup.exe file will be in the root of the CD, if not you will have to add the file path to the OPEN command.

    Save this file to the CD and it should autorun.

    There is already an AUTORUN.INF on the CD. It contails [autorun] OPEN=setup.exe /AUTORUN ICON=setup.exe,1 shell\configure=&Configure shell\configure\command=setup.exe shell\install=&install shell\install\command=setup.exe What do I do with that file replace it. I downloaded the karenware but I would really like to learn how to do it manually.

    What operating system?
    I ask this because the autorun.inf and Windows Autoplay features differ in each operating system.
