Hopefully I am putting this in the right category. The problem only seems to be affecting Internet Explorer and OUtlook Express, I believe the problem is Windows related.

Earlier today I ran for the 1st time regseeker and it found four over 400 registry keys that had no path. So I made a backup and deleted them. Since then whenever I open up an email in Outlook Express or Internet Explorer the windows open small and I have to maximize to make the window full screen. Even if I open the same document twice it still opens up small. I am just so used to the screen being full sized.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

In Outlook Express, open a message then point the mouse cursor at a corner. When it turns into a double-headed arrow, hold the left mouse button down and drag the window to the size and placement you want. Close that window. All future message windows will open to that size and placement. You can change it by doing the dragging trick anytime you want.

For Internet Explorer, open it to a page with links, open a link in a new window. Use the same dragging process to resize that secondary window...to full size if you like. Then, before doing anything else, close the original IE window. Then close the one you resized. All future secondary windows will open to the size and placement of that one you resized.

Using the maximize button, as you have learned, is only a temporary setting and will be forgotten. Dragging the windows to the size you want will be remembered.
